How to play Gas Rush Miami
Gas Rush Miami is a free 3D endless runner you can play right in your browser – no download, no sign-up. Cruise a pastel sunset beach highway lined with palm trees, art-deco hotels and neon signs, dodge convertibles, vans, buses and gangs of motorbike riders, and see how far you can go. The farther you go, the faster it gets.
- Pick your ride: a wide glossy supercar (red to start, more paints unlock), or a narrow sport motorcycle with quicker lane changes and its own twin-jet thrusters.
- Change lanes: swipe left or right, or press ← / → (A / D).
- Jump: swipe up or tap the screen, or press ↑ / W / Space. Hop over convertibles and motorbikes – you can even land on their roofs.
- Fly: hold the THRUST button (or hold Space / ↑ in the air, or T) to burn gas and soar over whole bus and van convoys. Thrust drains the GAS bar fast – when it flashes red you are almost out, and an empty tank ends the flight.
- BOOST (Shift): hold the red BOOST button (or Shift) for a burst of extra speed with a thick white-and-red fire trail. It drains the boost bar, which refills over time and from gas cans. It is separate from gas thrust and from the JET hyper mode.
- Speed lever: pick Cruise, Fast or Turbo (keys 1 / 2 / 3 or Z / X). Faster cruising earns points faster but leaves less time to react.
- Garage: beat a best score or spend coins to unlock the crossover, the steel pickup and the big rig – each has its own size, handling and jump power.
- Radio, pause & leaderboard: six original synth stations (Q / E to switch, M to mute), P or Esc to pause, a driver name for your local top-10 and a share card for your score.
- Collect gas: red gas cans on the road and floating above convoys each add +35 gas. Flying over a convoy to grab the cans pays for itself. Gas only trickles back slowly while you are on the ground.
- Barrel roll: change lanes while airborne to spin for bonus points.
- Launch ramp intro: every run starts at the foot of a tall curved launch ramp. Drive up, the thrusters fire and you fly over a row of parked vehicles, then the road traffic begins. Tap or press Space after one second to skip.
- Ramps on the road: drive up the ramp on the back of the ramp trucks to launch over tall billboard walls, and take the rooftop ramps on the skyline buildings to jump off the roof and land again. Coins arc over every jump.
- Sky routes (unlocked by best score): at best 1200 a cargo plane parks on the highway — climb its boarding ramp, drive along the roof deck and jump off the nose. At best 3500 a rocket transporter appears: drive up onto the rocket and hold on — it lifts off, you ride it to orbit, collect ×3 star coins on a glowing lane in space, then re-enter and land back on the road with a gas refill and bonus. Tap or press Enter to skip the cinematics.
- Jet upgrades & HYPER SPEED: coins are banked. Buy Jet I, II and III in the JET UPGRADES shop on the start screen. Pick up blue jet canisters, then press J (or the JET button) to go HYPER: the speedometer climbs to ×100 with Jet III, the road becomes a coin-filled hyper lane with a score multiplier and you cannot crash while it lasts. Watch for the warning before the boost ends.
- Paint colours: the car starts glossy red. Higher best scores unlock pearl white, midnight blue, black, gold, electric green and magenta, picked on the start screen.
- Power-ups: Shield survives one crash, Magnet pulls in coins, ×2 doubles your points for a few seconds.
Tips
Tall vans and buses cannot be jumped – dodge them or fly. Do not hold thrust for no reason: save gas for the big convoy walls that block every lane, and pick up the cans as you go. Your best score, driver name and top ten runs are saved on your device.
